Kate Spade in Disney deal for Miss Piggy products and campaign

Kate Spade is launching a Miss Piggy capsule collection on December 1. The Kate Spade New York x Disney Miss Piggy line will debut as the Muppets character also appears in the brand’s holiday season advertising and promotes its personalisation offer.

The limited edition line-up for the collection includes a clutch bag, a wristlet, a wallet, iPhone case, a sweater, jewellery and a keychain. In Miss Piggy signature pink with sparkling accents, pieces will also feature signature quotes such as “Who Moi?”

Prices will start at $48, rising to $378, according to the American press, and they will be available on Kate Spade’s own website, in its stores and at Nordstrom.

Meanwhile the holiday campaign sees Miss Piggy starring alongside Kate Spade favourite Jourdan Dunn and Catherine Baba, and she will also front the Miss Adventure film online in December.

The new campaign is publicising Kate Spade’s customisation options whereby customers can have their initials on products as well as selecting patches and bag charms.
