Kendra Scott opens first New York store in SoHo

Austin, Texas-based fashion and lifestyle brand Kendra Scott has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in New York CIty's SoHo neighborhood. 

The two-story, 1700-square-foot store is located on the corner of Spring St. and Greene St. and will offer the full range of Kendra Scott jewelry, the brand's jewelry customization Color Bar, home goods, candles and nail lacquer. To create buzz about the new opening, a bright yellow mural inspired by the brand's logo color has been painted on one of the store's walls, where shoppers are encouraged to take photos and post with the #PaintNYYellow tag. 

"We've seen great enthusiasm from our NYC-based customers for this move and are excited to bring our bold pieces and one-of-a-kind store experiences to a location that is known for being at the center of the fashion and lifestyle industry," said founder and designer Kendra Scott.

Boosting the brand's philanthropic reputation, the SoHo store will host Kendra Gives Back events to support local causes throughout the year.

Kendra Scott will continue its #PaintNYYellow campaign by hosting events like in-store Summer Friday Breakfast, a nail art collaboration with SoHo-based nail brand Paintbox, as well as a "Keep Austin Weird" themed day in honor of the brand's origin.
