Kenneth Cole launches first India store in partnership with Brandzstorm India Marketing
US apparel and accessories brand Kenneth Cole has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in India in partnership with its India licensee Brandzstorm India Marketing. The store is located in Mumbai’s Infiniti Mall in Malad.
The new store measures 1,200 square feet and houses men’s and women’s apparel, footwear, handbags, accessories, fragrances, lifestyle goods, and luggage. Product prices range from Rs 3,000 ($42.40) to Rs 20,000. The store’s interior features a minimalistic design with exposed brickwork and industrial design elements.
“We are excited to launch the first flagship Kenneth Cole store in India at the upscale neighbourhood in Malad Mumbai,” said Brandzstorm India Marketing’s managing director Ujjval Saraf in a press release. “We are pleased to bring the brand to the Indian customer and believe there will be a high degree of acceptance from our esteemed patrons in Mumbai. The new store will provide irresistible shopping experience giving customers access to a wide choice of Kenneth Cole New York products under one roof.”
Brandzstorm India, which signed a 10 year licence agreement for the SAARC region with Kenneth Cole in 2018, plans to open 10 exclusive retail outlets for the brand in India in the coming three years. The business will focus on metros and Tier 1 cities for its first phase of store launches. Brandzstorm India also plans to distribute Kenneth Cole products through multi-brand boutiques, shop-in-shops, large department stores, and e-commerce platforms.
