Kering announces appointment of Jean-Philippe Bailly as COO

Kering on Friday announced the appointment of Jean-Philippe Bailly as Kering’s Chief Operating Officer, effective 1st April 2016. He will be taking over from Karlheinz Hofer, one year after taking on the role himself.

 
Jean-Philippe Bailly will report to Jean-François Palus, Managing Director of Kering and will be a member of the Group’s Executive Committee. He will lead at global level the Supply Chain, Logistics and Industrial Operations. 

The executive started his career in the United States, in sports marketing before gaining expering in the automotive industry at Valeo. He joined Richemont in 2000 to develop a worldwide integrated strategy and logistics organisation.
