KFC refreshes with first holiday capsule collection
KFC launched on Monday its first holiday collection of chicken-themed t-shirts and accessories.
The new collection, which follows the Louisville, Kentucky-based company’s fast-selling collection from July, is comprised of not only chicken and Colonel Sanders-themed apparel but also accessories like pins, pillows, mugs and wrapping paper.
A new style for the holidays is a red sweatshirt featuring Colonel Sanders in a Santa Clause hat, a tent called an Internet Escape Pod, as well as money clips that say Legal Tenders, photography prints and seasonless styles like trucker caps and t-shirts with the food chain’s catchphrase, “It’s finger lickin’ good.”
"Our finger lickin' faithful deserve to celebrate the holidays by giving and receiving some fried chicken essentials," said George Felix, director of advertising, KFC U.S. "The second round of KFC Ltd. has it all, even the wrapping paper. You'll spend less time shopping, leaving you more time to enjoy a $20 Fill Up with your family this holiday season."
KFC first launched its e-commerce KFC Ltd. e-commerce website in July and quickly sold through its apparel and accessories products. The website has undergone a full refresh for the holiday season.
