Kith opens Miami flagship
Dec 3, 2016
After announcing the location in January, Kith has finally opened the doors of its new Miami flagship, just in time for Art Basel. This South Beach location is the brand’s first retail venture outside the New York City area.

"Miami has always been like a second home to me,” stated Kith-founder and creative director Ronnie Fieg, “and it's been an important step I've wanted the brand to take since our first pop-up there in 2013. This will be our most elevated store design to date, and I believe that we have something to offer the Miami customer that no other retailer can.”

The space features a gallery-like design, thought up by Snarkitecture, a New York architecture firm who has recently designed spaces for Nike, COS, The Arrivals, Stampd, and Billionaire Boys Club.
Custom terrazzo panels, in gradient colors changing from blue to white, line the walls of the space. One of the stand-out features is the 500 cast Nike Jordan V sneakers (V representing this fifth retail venture by Kith) decorating the walls of the space.

To coincide with the grand opening, Kith will be released exclusive collections with Aime Leon Dore and Nike. Limited-edition Nike sneakers – Air Force 1 retros - will be auctioned off to celebrate the opening.

Since starting the brand in 2011, founder Ronnie Fieg has been growing Kith at an exponential pace. This Miami flagship marks the brand’s fifth retail venture since the brand launched five years ago.
The brand’s seasonal NYC fashion show has been one of the hottest tickets in town. In the past, the New York retailer has unveiled exclusive collaborations with Nike, Adidas, Asics, Timberland, New Balance, Columbia, Bape, Off-White, Aimé Leon Dore and Bergdorf Goodman.
