Kith to open retail location at Bergdorf Goodman, launch partnership

Kith, in 2016 alone, launched collaborations with Adidas, Levi’s, and Garrett Leight California Optical among others, and opened pop up stores with Nike and Bleacher Report. The New York-based lifestyle retailer on Monday announced Bergdorf Goodman as its latest collaborator, and the new partnership will include a collection and storefront.

 
Bergdorf Goodman will house a Kith shop at its Men’s Store, which will sell Kith branded products and a Kith x Bergdorf Goodman capsule collection. Snarkitecture designs the store which features herringbone marble walls, a custom Carrera marble bench, and casted Air Jordan IVs, a motif found in all Kith stores.
 
The Kith x Bergdorf Goodman collection includes six limited-edition co-branded styles including a t-shirt, hoodie, crewneck sweater, full tracksuit and wool cap. The collection also marks as the first time the Bergdorf Goodman logo will appear on outside of a garment.

The store will open on Wednesday, September 14, just one day after Kith’s first fashion show, KITHLAND. The fashion show will feature 90 different looks that will launch in the remaining months of 2016. KITHLAND will begin at 9:30pm on September 13 and will be held at the Samsung 837 store in New York City.
 
The Kith x Bergdorf Goodman collection will launch at Kith’s retail locations at Bergdorf Goodman, NoHo, and Brooklyn as well as its website.
