L'Oréal opens headquarters on the US West Coast
L'Oréal has just opened its second company headquarters in the United States. After New York, it is on the West Coast, in El Segundo, California, a city located in Los Angeles County, that the global beauty giant has opened a building of more than 9,200 square meters.

The location, billed as "ultramodern and outward-looking," will house the California-based brands within the French group's brand portfolio that previously had headquarters scattered throughout the state of California, namely NYX Professional Makeup, Pulp Riot, Urban Decay and Youth to the People, a skincare label founded in 2015 in Los Angeles by two cousins and acquired by L'Oreal in December 2021.
The new headquarters also houses L'Oréal's first Professional Products Academy on the West Coast, which offers hair styling classes among other courses.
L'Oreal's long-standing North American headquarters have been in New York City since the early 1950s. In 2016, the company took up residence at 10 Hudson Yards.

In the United States, one of its most profitable subsidiaries in terms of sales, L'Oréal employs about 11,000 people.
In the first half of 2022, L'Oréal's North America region recorded an 11.6% increase in sales to €4.65 billion. Globally, the beauty giant raked in €18.37 billion in sales from January to June 2022.
