Fearless colors were the order of the day at London Fashion Week on Monday as designers Roksanda and Erdem sent their Autum/Winter 2015 collections strutting down the runway.

A daring palette of sapphire blues, burnt oranges, mustards and magentas was splashed across the pieces at Roksanda in a symphony of gorgeous swirls and stripes.

Silhouettes were just as sumptuous, with taut waists, flared hemlines and chunky cross-body shawls providing a bold structured aesthetic, helped by the weight of the designs which were fabricated in heavy knits and furs, with flashes of jacquard and metallic belts peeking through.

Vibrant hues were also on show at Erdem, where brocade dresses in pinks and greens featured silk print-inspired motifs ranging from whimsical oriental blossoms to contemporary leaf patterns.

The enchanting collection also comprised a series of sober winter coats in blacks and camels descending halfway down into whimsical chocolate box colors replete with foliage motifs.

Houndstooth print jackets, skirts and coats were a nod to the classic stalwarts of style but their lurid pink and purple tones and tassels offered a contemporary twist, while animal print jackets were given a similar irreverent treatment with a shaggy embellishment.
