La Redoute opens a pop up in Liverpool

In the midst of politically sensitive divestiture talks, La Redoute isn’t slowly down plans - including those in the UK. From May 22 to 26, it will open a pop up store in the shopping mall Liverpool ONE in Liverpool.

The French mail order and online retailer will set-up shop temporarily “on the ground” now that, since the closure of La Redoute stores, its range is no longer available in physical stores.

As to the choice of Liverpool ONE, meanwhile, the company underscored the the shopping center’s central location.

The pop up will stock the distributor’s own brands, such as Laura Clement and Miss R, as well as a selection of beachwear and dresses.

Its timing coincides with a La Redoute sales event that sees all products sold at half-price. A charity event is also planned with funds going toward the Liverpool ONE Foundation.

If successful, La Redoute may open one a pop up in France as well.

Besides France and the UK, La Redoute is present in countries such as Sweden, Canada, Russia, South Korea and China.
