Luxury fashion brand Lafayette 148 New York announced on Thursday the opening of two stores in Miami as part of the company’s plans to grow its U.S. retail presence.

The company has opened a storefront at The Bal Harbour Shops as well as at the Brickell City Centre. These Miami locations will be the first to receive Lafayette’s resort and spring collections, due to the city’s warmer climate. The stores will also offer an exclusive capsule for Miami women, curated by Chief Creative Officer, Barbara Gast, and Creative Director, Emily Smith. Both Miami locations will also offer services such as one-on-one shopping with Personal Stylists, expert fittings and alterations.

The Bal Harbour shops location has an interactive feel, while the Brickell location is designed to bring a bit of Soho to Miami.

“We opened in Bal Harbour and Brickell City Centre to showcase our luxury products to local residents and sophisticated tourists in this exciting international city. Miami is one of the strongest markets for Lafayette 148 New York and this is a great opportunity for us to build our brand exposure," says Lafayette 148 New York CEO and Co-Founder, Deirdre Quinn, in a news statement.

Lafayette 148 New York was founded in 1996.
