Lane Bryant announces the launch of a new Beauticurve collection

Fashion influencer Rochelle Johnson has been tapped by Lane Bryant to launch a second collaborative collection with the label.


Johnson, who founded the style blog Beauticurve in 2013, has joined forces with the plus size fashion label to co-create a ‘Beauticurve x Lane Bryant' series that was inspired by her recent trip to Mexico. The collection will launch in two phases, with five pieces rolling out today, and a further 11 slated to arrive on March 9.

The line, which spans separates such as dresses, tops, bottoms and jackets, blends vibrant prints with bold hues and runs in sizes 12 through 28. It follows on from Johnson's first collection for the brand, which hit stores last spring. 

"Rochelle is the true embodiment of Lane Bryant's mantra - #CreateYourLane," said Susan Rodgers, Chief Marketing Officer of Lane Bryant, in a statement. "She has been a wonderful advocate of our brand, from her past work as a store associate to becoming an undeniable force in the influencer community."

"I love to explore all types of styles, prints and silhouettes, and took this approach when co-designing the collaboration with the Lane Bryant team," added Johnson. "I personally am a fan of wearing apparel in multiple ways. It was important for me to incorporate my own mix and match philosophy into the Beauticurve x Lane Bryant collection, creating maximum versatility with each piece."

In partnering with Lane Bryant, Johnson follows in the footsteps of fellow blogger Tanesha Awasthi (aka the 'Girl With Curves'), who co-created a collection with the label in 2018.
