The selection process has been finalised. Several names had been hinted at over the past few months, but Bruno Sialelli appeared the most solid choice: on Monday, Lanvin confirmed the arrival of the designer to its top creative role. Sialelli was previously design director of Loewe's menswear lines, where he worked with J.W. Anderson. He previously served at Balenciaga, in womenswear design; at Acne and at Paco Rabanne.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bruno as the new creative director of Lanvin,” commented Lanvin CEO Jean-Philippe Hecquet. “His singular and very personal vision, his audacity, his culture, his energy and ability to build a strong creative team definitely convinced us. I can’t wait to discover Bruno’s first collections which will fully bring back to life this beautiful and unique fashion house, and once again inspire a passion among our customers.”
The Fosun Fashion Group, which acquired the French label last year, is hoping for a successful relaunch with Studio Berçot graduate Sialelli at its helm.
