Leandra Medine launches shoe collection with Net-A-Porter

Leandra Medine, blogger-turned-founder of lifestyle and fashion website Man Repeller, has joined up with Net-A-Porter for her debut footwear collection. The collection, labelled "MR by Man Repeller", will feature five different shoes in an entire rainbow of colors. The line will be sold exclusively on Net-A-Porter.com.

The collection reflects Medine’s quirky personal style. The line features everything from over-the-knee boots to shimmery patent loafers to sparkly gold boots. “Style is a meaningful form of self-expression”, Medine told the press about her first collection.

All the names for each item reflect Medine’s unique sense of humor. ‘LOL if you think I’m Walking’ is a sky-high platform sandal in various finishes. “The Morning After” is a satin and velvet slide sandal with ribbon ankle straps.

Leandra Medine started her career in fashion as a blogger. She turned her blog, “Man Repeller”, into a lifestyle website with a staff of over 15. Medine published her first book “Seeking Love. Finding overalls.” in 2013. She was recognized as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 in 2012.

Prices for the line start at $350 for flats and go up to $795 for velvet over-the-knee boots. The products are now available on Net-A-Porter.com.
