Lisbon’s FT Luxury Summit to be attended by 400 luxury industry professionals
After San Francisco last year, the Financial Times Luxury Summit is scheduled from 14th to 16th May in Lisbon this year. The event offers excellent networking opportunities and will be attended by senior executives from LVMH, Kering and Hermès among others.

Among the guests expected at Lisbon's Four Seasons Hotel Ritz will be Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton), Jean-François Palus (Kering), Federico Marchetti (Yoox Net-a-Porter), Francesco Trapani (Bulgari) and Axel Dumas (Hermès). They will be joined by Cyrille Vigneron (Cartier), François-Henry Bennahmias (Audemars Piguet), José Neves (Farfetch), Daniel Piette (L Capital) and Guram Gvasalia (Vetements).
One of the signature moments of this year's summit is likely to be the speech by former EU Commission President José Manuel Barroso. Also a former Prime Minister of Portugal, Barroso will offer his own take on the world's and Europe's economic outlook.
The summit will be attended by over 400 industry professionals, half of them CEOs. Of the participants, 75% come from the luxury goods industry and 25% from international specialist distributors. The organisers have planned over 10 hours of networking time, notably at the stunning Patio da Galé venue, on the site of Lisbon's ancient Royal Palace.
