Loro Piana has released a collaboration with Japanese artist Hiroshi Fujiwara. It is a unisex capsule collection combining a street vibe with the Italian label’s lavish fabrics and signature elegance. It is the very first collaboration for Loro Piana, which chose Fujiwara to give a fresh twist to its design codes, creating ten looks with a polished aesthetic and minimalist style.

“Working with Loro Piana, which accepted the challenge, was a very exciting, fun affair,” said the artist, who decided to lend his name to a collaboration for the first time.

The collection is a combination of powerful items and must-have accessories, all in Fujiwara’s preferred palette of navy blue, black, charcoal and white, featuring Loro Piana’s distinctive attention to the minutest detail, and the use of first-rate materials like Tasmanian Super 150s wool and Baby Cashmere.

Street style evolves and becomes more sophisticated in this collaboration. The collection includes a reversible bomber jacket, an oversize coat and various knitwear items featuring the traditional Japanese Tsunagi printed pattern, a symbol of joy and social interaction.

“Designer, musician, influencer and founder of a fashion label (...) and a household goods brand,” Fujiwara is renowned in New York and Tokyo as a streetwear guru, able to apply his versatile talent to many different domains.

The Loro Piana x Hiroshi Fujiwara collection is available from October 13 at the label's stores and on its e-shop.
