Los Angeles pop-up is the start of Dior and ERL world tour

From January 12 to February 12, Dior, the French luxury house and its artistic director Kim Jones will present its capsule collection created with Californian brand ERL, created by Eli Russell Linnetz, in a new pop-up in Los Angeles, which is expected to open in the Melrose district.

This pop-up comes after the one in London, which launched this Thursday, at Dover Street Market, and which should then travel to Asia, starting with Japan, South Korea, Thailand and China.    
 
The planned tour comes seven months after the show Dior organised in Los Angeles, in the Venice district. On May 20, Kim Jones unveiled a flamboyant capsule collection featuring 40 silhouettes combining Dior's tailoring universe with the pop and offbeat spirit of California designer Eli Russell Linnetz.

The Los Angeles pop-up will feature most of the looks from the show, including a selection of polo shirts, sweatshirts, shorts as well as shirts with rabbits, seeing as according to the Chinese zodiac, 2023 is the year of the rabbit. The show also featured streetwear suits, shorts, plush high neck sweatshirts in 'California sky' tones or reinterpreting Dior's signature cane pattern, printed cardigans and sleeveless vests, and pastel-colored quilted jackets.
