Lucky teams with Goodyear on vintage-inspired T-shirt collection

Lucky Brand apparel company and Goodyear, the tire giant, will launch an exclusive collection of five t-shirts on June 1. The line will be showcased at Lucky Brand standalone stores, outlets, and on the company’s web store

Inspired by Goodyear automobile innovations and history, the t-shirts feature vintage Goodyear images of race cars and Goodyear logos. Made of 100% cotton, each shirt is priced at $39.50 USD.
Kin Ying Lee, chief creative officer of Lucky Brand, says of the collaboration: "While denim is our legacy, today we are a lifestyle brand with a strong moto heritage. This partnership with Goodyear is a great fit for our brand."
Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies. It employs approximately 66,000 people and manufactures its products in 49 facilities in 22 countries around the world. Its two Innovation Centers are in Akron, Ohio and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg.
Los Angeles-based Lucky Brand offers iconic apparel inspired by rock music and biker culture. Founded in 1990 by Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman, the brand is known for its denim and casual apparel for men and women. There are currently 209 Lucky Brand stores throughout the United States.
