The Dutch store opened last month in a 235-square-meter space located in Amsterdam’s historic Nine Streets area. In store, customers can shop the brand’s latest men’s and women’s collections and enjoy a studio and community area located on the first floor. Meanwhile, behind the building is a garden where guests are invited to "pause, reflect and connect."

The Amsterdam location also hosts a team of educators to help guests discover the newest studio openings, best running routes, and food destinations in the local area. In a studio on a top floor, complimentary weekly yoga and fitness classes are also led by local ambassadors like yogi Daphne Koken and trainer Pim Goedhart.

Lululemon has long invested in stores that also serve as community hubs. The company has inaugurated a number of concept stores dubbed 'Locals', including in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Fort Collins, Colorado; and Bend, Oregon, to name a few. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company currently operates 426 stores worldwide including 30 locations in Europe.

In its most recent earnings update in March, the company said it expects to see first-quarter net revenue in the range of $740 million to $750 million, based on a total comparable sales increase in the low-double digits on a constant dollar basis. Diluted earnings per share are expected to be in the range of $0.68 to $0.70 for the quarter.

For the full fiscal 2019, Lululemon expects net revenue to be in the range of $3.7 billion to $3.74 billion, based on a similar low-double digit comparable sales increase on a constant dollar basis. Diluted earnings per share are expected to be in the range of $4.48 to $4.55 for the full year.
