Macy's Bar III label taps Becca Tilley for first collaborative collection

Macy’s private label Bar III has tapped influencer, podcast host and television personality, Becca Tilley, for its first-ever collaboration; a collection of apparel “made for the woman on-the-go.”

The Becca Tilley x Bar III collection offers an assortment of apparel, including dresses and separates, inspired by Tilley’s personal style and is designed in partnership with Reunited Clothing. Design elements include a palette of neon colors, textured fabrics, animal prints, and menswear-style suiting in feminine silhouettes. Prices range from $39.50 to $129.50.

“I designed it to include everything young women need in their closets,” said Tilley, who currently has 1.1 million Instagram followers and 37K YouTube subscribers.

“The pieces are on trend and ready for anything, from meetings at the office to a casual day hanging out with friends. Working with Macy’s gave me the opportunity to take what my followers have always loved about my style and develop versatile pieces to help them feel confident and chic.”

The influencer collaboration is a fitting match for the trendy, affordably-priced Bar III label, whose 2011 launch party was organized by the fashion bloggers behind Fashion Toast, Sea of Shoes, Feels Like White Lightning and Street Etiquette.

“Tilley’s multi-faceted passions and impeccable personal style made her an ideal choice for our first bar lll collaboration,” added Durand Guion, vice president of Macy’s Fashion Office. “We are thrilled to bring this exciting capsule collection to Macy’s.”

For Tilley, the Bar III capsule marks her first full clothing line collaboration, following a collaborative swimwear collection released with California-based lifestyle brand, L Space, back in February.
