Macy’s takes cues from country club chic, music festivals and 80s denim for Spring 2016

Macy’s just announced its featured trends for Spring 2016: The Good Life; Bohemian Escape; and Denim Dressing. For its spring campaign, Macy’s will feature select customer photos of their favorite spring looks posted on Twitter and Instagram on on billboards throughout the United States and one in New York City’s Times Square.

The Good Life focuses on modern updates to 1950s country club classics, including mid-length dresses, gingham prints, eyelets and the little white dress. Bohemian Escape celebrates music festival fashion with bell-bottoms, tunics, fringe and beading. Denim Dressing, an 80s denim redux, includes distressed and patchwork styles for skirts and jeans, as well as a bit of glam rock with rhinestone embellishments and pumps. Featured designers for the spring trends include Rachel Roy, I.N.C., Charter Club and American Rag, among others.
