Swiss outdoor apparel and equipment company Mammut Sports Group AG has appointed Felix Münnich as chief commercial officer, starting on November 1. Münnich is an experienced executive with an 18-year track record in the sport equipment and consumer goods industries. After CEO, Heiko Schäfer and chief product officer Paul Cosgrove, he is the third key top executive hired by Mammut to drive the company forward.

Münnich has worked for over 12 years at Nike in various roles. He was the general manager Greece, he was in charge of direct retail business in the south EMEA region, and later was head of online-to-offline and omnichannel operations EMEA. His most recent position at Nike was VP/GM direct inline stores for the EMEA region. Münnich has also worked for six years at Boston Consulting Group.

“I am convinced that Felix will use his full energy and expertise to grow our business across all sales channels. I am very grateful that Simen Mørdre, our CCO ad interim until now, is handing over a strong and driven team,” said Schäfer.

Mammut, which has decided to focus on its sport apparel and equipment lines, was acquired in April 2021 by Telemos Capital, a London-based investment firm founded in Switzerland, for an undisclosed amount.
