Marchon Eyewear signs exclusive U.S. distribution agreement for Paul Smith Eyewear

American eyewear group Marchon Eyewear, Inc. and British luxury glasses company Cutler and Gross, Ltd. have entered into an exclusive agreement for Marchon Eyewear to distribute Paul Smith sun and optical eyewear throughout the U.S. 


The line will make its U.S. debut at Vision Expo East 2019. - Via Cutler and Gross


The latest agreement follows Cutler and Gross' entry into a distribution partnership with Marchon in September of 2018, which made the American company the exclusive distributor of Cutler and Gross eyewear in the U.S. Later in December of that same year, Cutler and Gross entered into a partnership with Paul Smith Ltd. to oversee the design production and distribution of the brand’s sunglass and optical frames globally, excluding Japan. 

“The addition of Paul Smith’s exciting new eyewear designs complement our extensive brand portfolio by offering a unique line of premium, British-influenced optical and sun products, designed by one of Britain’s foremost designers," said Nicola Zotta, president and chief executive officer of Marchon Eyewear, in a release. "This new agreement allows us to leverage the scale and expertise of our U.S. distribution network while simultaneously furthering the growth and prominence of Marchon Eyewear, especially in the luxury segment of the market.” 

The line will make its U.S. debut at Vision Expo East 2019, where it will be presented by Marchon Eyewear along with new eyewear styles from Cutler and Gross and Italian luxury brand, Marni. 

The Paul Smith eyewear collection was officially launched at MIDO, the largest international trade show dedicated to eyewear, in Milan last month.
