Marchon promotes Thomas Burkhardt to president
Thomas Burkhardt has recently been promoted to the post of president of Marchon Eyewear, the US eyewear specialist. Burkhardt previously served as senior vice-president and head of marketing and design for Marchon’s brands worldwide.

Before joining Marchon in 2016, Burkhardt worked for US cosmetics group Coty as vice-president global marketing, notably in charge of Calvin Klein perfumes. Before Coty, he was based in his native Germany, working at Procter & Gamble.
At Marchon, Burkhardt succeeds Nicola Zotta, who left the company last May, and will report to Earnie Franklin, CEO of the VSP Vision group, which acquired Marchon in 2008.
Marchon reportedly distributes its products via 80,000 retailers worldwide. Its license portfolio notably includes Calvin Klein, DKNY, Lacoste, Longchamp, Salvatore Ferragamo and Victoria Beckham.
