The new collection offers both men's and women's graphic tees. The parks featured in the debut launch are Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park and Maine's Acadia National Park.

The first installment of the collection is on presale now on the company's website. Marine Layer will also crowdsource additional parks to be featured in future releases. It will ask consumers to vote on which parks they would like to see featured for tees that will be released by holiday 2017.

The new parks collection is part of Marine Layer's "charitees" program designed to support local communities and make cause driven products. Michael Natenshon, CEO of Marine Layer said "It was an amazing design opportunity for us." He continued, "we’re going to make our largest charitee donation ever to an organization we all feel a strong connection to."

The tees are the first consumer-facing step in Marine Layer's partnership with the National Park Foundation. From now through August 31, 2018, Marine Layer has committed to donating a minimum of $50,000 to the organization to help it with its mission.

The National Park Foundation's mission is to protect and preserve America's parks. It is also to "engage the next generation of park supporters." Stefanie Mathew, vice president of corporate partnerships at the National Park Foundation said the tee shirt line will help people "show off their love for our parks and support them at the same time.”

The tees are available for preorder now on Marine Layer's website. They retail for $45 with $15 of each sale going to the National Park Foundation.
