Maripier Morin launches swimsuit line

Quebec media darling Maripier Morin is once again venturing into fashion with the launch of her own swimsuit brand.

Dubbed 'Ornorm', a play on the French word “hors-norme”, which means beyond the norm, the brand will launch with a 36-piece collection of swimsuits on February 6.

The collection features three bikini tops and three bottoms including high-waisted and low-waist options. Rounding out the collection are two one-piece swimsuits. Everything will be offered in four colours: black, brick orange, emerald green and a geometric print.

“I am so beyond proud to finally launch my very own brand @ornorm.officiel,” said Morin, in on Instagram post presenting the first campaign images.

“It's surreal! Ornom is the right of being your true self, without any compromise. I hope it will resonate with all of you!”  

Three muses were selected for the campaign shoot, following an open casting call.

Maripier has played host for a number of shows and events across Quebec and in turn, has made a name for herself in fashion.

She has previously teamed up with brands like Revlon and Reebok as a brand ambassador, as well as launching capsule collections with brands like BonLook and Blush Lingerie.

She is also well-known as the former wife of professional hockey player Brandon Prust, and her role on Hockey Wives, a reality TV show on W Network.

The collection will be available at ornorm.com, as well as at La Maisons Simons. Items will vary from $45-$98 CDN.
