Maurices expands Evsie brand with new stores, shop-in-shops

Apparel retailer Maurices announced on Thursday plans to expand the brick-and-mortar presence of its new tween brand, Evsie.

As part of the expansion plan, Evsie will open three freestanding stores located in West Jordan, UT, Fargo, ND and Boise, ID. Likewise, the tween brand will expand into Maurices' stores with six passthrough locations and over 240 shop-in-shops across the country, bringing the brand to nearly 800 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"We are thrilled to provide the tween girl and her mom comfortable fashion, with a great fit and amazing quality for its value. Evsie offers a collection for girls ages 8 to 12 that is fashion forward, on-trend and "mom approved”. The line spans key categories including denim, graphic tees, sweatshirts, dresses, accessories and more.

Maurices officially launched the tween brand this past spring with shop-in-shops across 50 stores, nationwide and on maurices.com. Most recently, in August, it expanded with 150 shop-in-shop locations.
