Mercedes-Benz and BFC present "Style Profiles" film

Published
Jun 18, 2015

The Style Profiles film series launched in 2014 and features fashion influencers like Quentin Jones and Thephilus London. Now, they have company: a fictional style icon, "The Kid."

The new film, the 6th in the series, is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and the British Fashion Council. It features X-Games winning BMX rider Dennis Enarson, who plays a failing BMX champion doing cereal commercials to stay afloat.

The film was directed by award-winning, L.A. based director Ace Norton and styled by Sara Sensoy, and features clothes from Tiger of Sweden, who showed at London Fashion Week.

Mercedes-Benz says the film was made in "support of its commitment to the Global Fashion Engagement and emerging talent worldwide." The plan now is for all new installments of Style Profiles to collaborate with a different council or fashion market for each.
