Messika unveils Kendall Jenner as new brand face in latest campaign
Captured by Australian photographer Chris Colls, the new Messika campaign showcases the U.S. supermodel adorned in the Parisian brand's luxury jewels -- stacked across the fingers, wrists, decolletage and neck -- staring down the camera, as a symbol of elegance and strength for the Messika woman.
"I wanted to illustrate a subtle alliance between grace and strength and capture an image of an alpha woman with a mysterious and hypnotic aura; and Kendall perfectly embodied that for me," said Valérie Messika, founder of the her namesake Messika brand, when talking about her new ambassador and campaign.
Wearing in separate shots a black neoprene swimsuit, and blue lamé crop swimsuit, Jenner was shot in and around the blue waters of the south of France, exercising by the coast and lazing in a pool.
"I was very happy to be chosen by Messika for its new campaign because I really like the spirit of this brand which merges glamour and Parisian chic in its jewelry. The shoot went very smoothly: I immediately identified with this young woman full of energy who lives her life as she has decided," said Jenner, about the campaign.
Founded in 2005, Messika is currently sold in more than 50 countries around the world including Qatar, Russia and Germany. It is headquartered in Paris and has 400 points-of-sale worldwide.
