New York-based tailor Michael Andrews Bespoke has launched a new custom jeans category, adding to its existing offerings of made-to-order outerwear, suiting, formal wear, and business casual apparel.

Denims that are offered range from Japanese selvedge to luxury cotton and cashmere blends, making for a total of 50 different denims, including stretch, as well as a full range of colors and weights. The jeans are fully customizable with the option to choose thread color, rivet style, and button-fly or zipper closure.

Founder and CEO Michael Andrews explained the reasoning behind the new line in an official statement, saying, "The workplace has become more casual, and jeans are a staple of the modern business environment."

"We are launching custom denim to bring the benefits of true bespoke tailoring to jeans, something we believe is long overdue", he added.

Each pair of custom jeans are handmade in the tailor's shop. The patterns and specs are saved on file for each client for ease of future reordering.

Michael Andrews Bespoke custom jeans are priced starting at just under $400 a pair. They are available to order by appointment only.
