Michael Kors opens Montreal flagship store

Luxury fashion brand Michael Kors has inaugurated a new flagship store in downtown Montreal.

The three-level retail space spans an impressive 9,000 square feet and houses various Michael Kors products including accessories, jewellery, footwear, and fashions for men and women, under the lines Michael Michael Kors, Michael Kors Collection, and Michael Kors Mens. 
 
In-store features include a juice bar launched in partnership with Rejuice! Nutrition – a first at any Michael Kors in the world – as well as Michael Kors 'Studio 1133', which can be found on the third floor. 

The floor has a loft-like vibe designed to host events, styling services, and an area dedicated to private shopping and VIP clients. 
 
The floor also features an assortment of luxury pieces from the Michael Kors runway collection.
 
Home to its Canadian head offices, Montreal was also the company’s first Canadian retail hub with the opening of its first store 15 years ago.
 
"We opened our first Canadian store in Montreal, so it’s always been a special place for me. I can’t imagine a better location for our new flagship than in the heart of the city’s downtown district,”said Michael Kors, in a news statement.
 
“I know that our Montreal-based customers and tourists alike will appreciate being able to shop all of our lines under one roof."
 
The new store is now the company's largest flagship in the country. Previously, its largest location in Canada was Michael Kors’ Yorkdale Flagship in Toronto at 5,700 square feet. 
 
In Montreal, Michael Kors’ previously operated a concession inside the Ogilvy department store, which closed last year, as Ogilvy becomes Holt Renfrew Ogilvy.
