Model Charli Howard launches Squish Beauty

Model Charli Howard is the latest celebrity to enter the beauty game with the launch of Squish Beauty.

Featuring a color scheme dominated by bright red, the brand has launched with a total of three products: an eye and cheek mask--shaped like cherries--jelly lip gloss, and ‘flower power’ acne patches. The small, flower-shaped patches are made from hydrocolloid, which helps “a blemish come to the surface and pop on its own,” the brand said. 

Each product can be purchased separately or as part of one of two ‘SquishKits.’ Individual items range from $12 for the acne patches to $20 for the eye and cheek masks, while SquishKit1 retails for $35 and SquishKit2 for $40. 

On Squish Beauty’s website, products are shown on a diverse range of models, including Jillian Mercado, Sophia Hadjipanteli and Seynabou Cissé. As a further boost to its inclusive image, the brand also said that it does not retouch models in any way. 

Known for being a straight-sized model turned ‘curve’ at a U.S. size 6, Charli Howard has gone on to advocate for inclusivity and body positivity within the fashion industry.

Squish Beauty marks the latest in beauty brands recently launched by famous names, including Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories, Tom Ford’s Tom Ford Research and Norma Kamali’s Normalife, among others.
