Moncler: General Manager Monica Sottana resigns

Changes on the Moncler management team and Board of Directors. The Italian fashion group known for its famous down jackets has announced the departure of its General Manager, Monica Sottana in a press release. "A decision based strictly on personal reasons," the company emphasised.

The executive will step down in January 2015 but will continue to collaborate with Moncler as a consultant "on important projects for the group's business," the group said. CEO Remo Ruffini will serve as interim manager until a new GM is appointed.

Also, Pietro Ruffini, the CEO's son is leaving the Board of Directors due to too many professional obligations. He will be replaced by Diva Moriani.

Also very busy with other professional activities, Alessandro Benetton will remain a member of the Board of Directors but will give up some of his other roles, such as president of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee and member of the Control and Risk Committee, and his role as Lead Independent Director, which will be taken over by Gabriele Galateri di Genola.
