Montreal’s McCord Museum hosts Italian fashion exhibition

This month the McCord Museum located in Montreal will open a new exhibition titled Eleganza: Italian Fashion from 1945 to Today.

The exhibition, organised by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and presented by Canadian retailer Holt Renfrew, will showcase the work of numerous Italian designers, particularly following World War II.
 
Pieces by new and emerging designers will be on display as well as creations by famous fashion houses such as Valentino, Armani, Fendi, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Emilio Pucci. What’s more, a range of accessories, photographs, magazines, drawings and film clips depicting Italian fashion from 1945 to today will also be on view.

The temporary exhibition will be on display at the McCord Museum from May 26 to September 25, 2016. The McCord Museum is located at 690, Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal.
