Montreal to launch digital fashion week next year

Montreal is set to get a new fashion week!
 
Digital Fashion Week Montreal (DFW Montreal) is expected to launch in March 2017 and will be primarily online.  
 

According to the event website, “DFW Montreal will have a strong focus on the future of fashion innovation re-writing the fashion week business model.” The website also said: “DFW Montreal’s core values are to nurture, inspire and promote the Canadian fashion scene globally through digital innovation and unique collaborations, while highlighting the culture and diversity of Montréal the city.”
 
The event schedule will include live streamed runway shows as well as networking events and other educational initiatives to support Canadian designers.

Event partners will include Maybelline New York, Redken 5th Avenue New York and essie.
