Mountain Hardwear announces President's resignation

A mere six months after stepping in the role as President of Mountain Hardwear, Christian Walbrecht has left the mountaineering brand belonging to US group Columbia Sportswear.

Officially, Christian Walbrecht will be pursuing "new opportunities closer to his family." Bryan Timm, President of the Columbia Sportswear Company, will take his place ad interim, until a successor is appointed.

Before Christian Walbrecht joined the company last March, it was Scott Kerslake – CEO of fitness and yoga brand PrAna (of the Columbia Sportswear group) – who temporarily took over the role of President at Mountain Hardwear.
