NCTO elects William McCrary as 2017 chairman

The National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) has elected William V McCrary Jr. as the 2017 chairman and Marty Moran as the vice chairman.

McCrary is the chairman and CEO of William Barnet and Son LLC, a synthetic fibre, yarn and polymer firm headquartered in South Carolina. He had also served as the vice chairman of NCTO in 2016.

New vice chairman Moran is the CEO of Buhler Quality Yarns Corporation, a leading fine-count yarn supplier with a manufacturing plant and its US headquarters in Georgia. The new officers were elected at the 14th Annual Meeting of NCTO held recently in Washington, DC.

Outgoing 2016 NCTO chairman Robert H Chapman, III delivered the trade association's 2017 state of the US textile industry overview at the meeting. His statement outlined US textile supply chain economic, employment and trade data as well as the 2017 policy priorities of domestic textile manufacturers.

NCTO is a Washington, DC-based trade association that represents domestic textile manufacturers.
