Turnstyle, the underground shopping center at the Columbus Circle subway station in New York City, officially opened Tuesday with 35 retailers.

The new retail destination is approximately 14,700-square-feet of underground space and is home to a number of fashion and accessory brands and eateries, including Spectre & Co., Studio Manhattan, Project No. 8 and a pop up from Fab.com. The food options include Starbucks, Dylan’s Candy Bar, and Pressed Juicery among others.

Turnstyle has been in the works since 2012 led by Susan Fine, President at Oases Development. The Columbus Circle station underwent a five-year, $108 million renovation that installed new storefronts. In November 2012, the Metropolitan Transit Authority selected Oases to build out the retail destination.

Fine also led the development of Grand Central Terminal in 1990s, which is currently home to Kenneth Cole, Banana Republic, The Art of Shaving, Jo Malone, Vince Camuto, Swatch and MAC Cosmetics among others.

The underground shopping center is expected to pull in 88,000 people on a weekday with its assortment of food options and fashion retailers. Visitors can enter Turnstyle through any Columbus Circle subway entrance on 57th/58th Street and 8th Avenue.
