Richmond, Virginia-based clothing and lifestyle retailer Need Supply Co. has launched a new collection of apparel and accessories from The New York Times.
Available now on Need Supply Co.'s e-commerce platform, the collection includes a range of baseball caps, beanies, long and short-sleeve t-shirts, a hoodie and a tote bag, with the majority of pieces being made in the USA.
Pieces are decorated with logos inspired by the historic newspaper, including 'The New York Times' and the letter 'T' in the Times' signature typography, as well as caps adorned with the words 'Brooklyn' and 'Manhattan' and shirts that read 'Truth. It's more important now than ever' and 'All the News That's Fit to Print.' In a simple color palette dominated by black and white, the collection retails from $25 to $85.
"Founded by Henry Jarvis Raymond and George Jones in 1851, The New York Times is a world-renowned news publication that sets the standard while constantly innovating the world of journalism," Need Supply said in an introduction to the collection. "The New York Times released a collection of apparel and accessories with classic silhouettes and iconic prints that, like the publication, are built to stand the test of time."
The New York Times first partnered with Need Supply Co. for the launch of its Holiday 2018 collection, which was available exclusively through the newspaper's site and with Need Supply.
In addition to its online platform, Need Supply operates a brick-and-mortar shop in Richmond, Virginia, and operates through Totokaelo stores in New York and Seattle, Washington.
