New Avon hires Helene F. Rutledge as Chief Innovation Officer

New Avon LLC announced on Wednesday the hiring of Helene F. Rutledge as Chief Innovation Officer, a newly created position at the company. She will report directly to Scott White, Chief Executive Officer for New Avon.

 
As Chief Innovation Officer, Rutledge will oversee all aspects of research and development at New Avon. She will be responsible for designing the innovation strategy and new product development processes, involving both internal and external capabilities. Rutledge will work closely with the Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing and Sourcing teams, and the Avon Products, Inc. R&D team.

Prior to joining New Avon, Rutledge served as the Vice President of Research and Development for Nature’s Bounty, Inc. where she led Product and Partner Development across NBTY’s brands and geographies. She also served as SVP of Technology at AeroDesigns, held operations and product development roles with Pfizer, GoSmile and Warner-Lambert and founded full-service consultancy firm Caliper Innovation.
