New men's retail app launches pop-up in Toronto

A new men's retail app based out of Toronto, Canada, will be on display next week in its home town.
 
Baptized Shop Bonsai, the app is Canada's first mobile retail marketplace curated for the millennial male. Described as an “editorial-driven retailer”, the app allows millennials to shop one-of-a-kind labels and browse daily content such as style updates from influencers and photographers from around the world.
 

Bonsai's works with hundreds of brands such as Canada’s Naked & Famous and 18 Waits, as well as global brands like Acne, Helmut Lang, and more.
 
From December 13 to the 16, Bonsai will take over Dundas Square in Toronto, with an interactive design exhibit to showcase the app to shoppers.

The app was founded in February by Saad Siddiqui, Kunal Khemani and Justin Laird. It is now available for download on Itunes.
