NFL star Christian McCaffrey has landed a major new fashion role with Flag & Anthem.

The Carolina Panthers player has been snapped up by the menswear brand to act as an ambassador for the label and front its Fall 2019 campaign.

"Their clothing is a perfect fit for my style, and I've been wearing the brand long before any formal relationship came together," McCaffrey said in a statement, discussing the partnership.

"The hard work that the team has put into building such an incredible company is really inspiring and I am looking forward to being a part of the future of Flag & Anthem."

"Christian is a terrific representative of our core customer and adds a new dimension for Flag & Anthem to further engage the sports audience in an authentic way," added Flag & Anthem Co-Founder, Brad Gartman.

For the new campaign, McCaffrey poses in his native state of Colorado, in a series of casual flannel button-downs, graphic t-shirts, and denim styles representative of the label's vintage aesthetic.

McCaffrey is not the first big signing for the clothing brand, which was launched in 2016 -- Flag & Anthem has previously worked with country music star Dierks Bentley, who teamed up with the label on its Desert Son product line.
