Nili Lotan launches first menswear collection

Nili Lotan made her entrance into menswear on Friday with the launch of a debut men’s collection for pre-Fall 2022.

The collection launches with a range of classic shirting, pants, jackets, and occasionwear ranging in price from $185 for cotton jersey tees to $2,195 for a leather jacket.

The Israeli-born and New York-based fashion designer launched her own namesake label in 2003 with a collection for modern women. Lotan’s entry into menswear is a natural progression for the designer who originally comes from a menswear design aesthetic.

“Thinking thoughtfully about the essential luxury pieces every man, husband, and boyfriend of my client would need, I built a full men’s wardrobe,” said Lotan. 

“As with women’s, I wanted to create something nonchalant and sophisticated. I started with relaxed-fit pants in both Italian cotton and wool, then to luxurious cashmere sweaters, shearlings, and finally leather pieces and cool, relaxed utilitarian outerwear. The men’s line is a natural extension of my design philosophy. Elevated wardrobe essentials that transcend time.”

The collection is now available on NiliLotan.com and in Nili Lotan’s retail stores in East Hampton, Tribeca, Madison Avenue and Palm Beach.

The collection will also be available at select retailers including Mr Porter, Matchesfashion, Ssense, Saks and Shopbop. Bergdorf Goodman and TNT will equally carry the men’s collection as of September.
