Nordstrom to open new off-price retail store in California's Elk Grove

Seattle-based fashion retailer Nordstrom, Inc has announced plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack store in Elk Grove, California, in the spring of 2024. The 25,000-square-foot off-price retail store will be located in The Ridge Elk Grove shopping centre, which already includes other major retailers such as Costco, Sephora, In-N-Out, and Starbucks.

With the addition of this new store, Nordstrom will have a total of 64 Nordstrom Rack stores, 23 Nordstrom stores, five Nordstrom locals and one Asos in California, the company said in a press release.

The Ridge Elk Grove is owned by Pappas Investments and managed by its affiliate Inverness Management, and is situated at the southeast corner of Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road.

Nordstrom Rack plays a critical role in the company's 'Closer to You' strategy, which focuses on delivering customers a more convenient and interconnected experience across its stores and digital platforms.
