OINTB star Danielle Brooks collaborates with Universal Standard on plus-size collection

Orange is the New Black star Danielle Brooks took to Instagram to announce that she’s designing a new line of plus-size clothing for Universal Standard.

The actress has always been known for spreading the word about body positivity, so it’s no surprise that she’s become an influencer for Universal Standard, a plus-size inclusive brand of women's modern essentials in sizes 10-28.

While all of the details on the new three-piece collection have yet to be released, Brooks sported a piece that will be a part of the upcoming collaboration with Universal Standard, launch TBD. "I’m designing @universalstandard’s new Tria Collection!” Brooks said on her Instagram along with the above photo. “Beyond excited about this collaboration with this amazing brand! You’ll soon be able to shop this look and a few others. Can’t wait to show you more. For now, stay tuned!”

The Tria line Brooks is collaborating on is designed to represent regular offerings from influencers who share three pieces they always wish they had in their closet. “We worked closely with Danielle Brooks to design the three pieces in the collection, which reflect both our established downtown, yet classic, aesthetic and Danielle’s strong personal style,” the company said in a statement on their website.

The collection will be available online in November.
