Odlo drops collaboration with Burton Snowboards
Sportswear brand Odlo has dropped a new, high-performance underwear range called Slokar Performance Wool 200, developed in partnership with Burton Snowboards. The new range combines Odlo's design and materials expertise with Burton’s signature style.
The Slokar range is made with Odlo Performance Wool fabric, which blends natural merino wool and synthetic fibres to meet the needs of high-intensity sports. Slokar’s distinguishing traits are its seamless construction, soft and comfortable feel, natural thermal regulation, moisture wicking, natural antibacterial protection, anti-odour properties and extreme durability. The range is designed to satisfy snowboarders’ expectations in terms of warmth and ease of movement.
“As we extend our winter sports range to snowboarding, skiing and ski mountaineering, this collaboration connects us with a new type of amateur athlete who may not have been familiar with Odlo’s performance apparel,” said Timo Pape, Odlo’s product director, adding that “collaborating with Burton to develop unique products is exciting.”
Slokar Performance Wool 200 underwear (tops and leggings) is available exclusively at Odlo and Burton stores and on the two brands’ e-shops.
Also, in October, Odlo reached a major milestone on the sustainability path. The share of the company’s output that uses recycled or natural materials, such as the WeAct children’s collection made from fabric offcuts, grew to 66%, a 15% increase in the use of recycled and natural materials over the course of one year, and a big step towards the declared objective of 100% by 2030.
