Off-White makes childrenswear debut

Off-White continues to expand its brand universe. The high-end streetwear label founded by Virgil Abloh in Milan in 2012, in which LVMH bought a 60% stake in July, has entered the childrenswear segment. Abloh announced the launch of the Off-White Kids line last summer, and now the US designer has got down to the nitty-gritty, introducing the label’s first childrenswear collection, for the Fall/Winter 2021-22.

The line is dedicated to girls and boys aged 4 to 12, and features a complete range of children's apparel, from t-shirts to jeans, hoodies, joggers, jackets, trousers, skirts, knitwear and more. As well as accessories, including of course sneakers, the category that established Off-White's reputation. For his younger fans, Abloh has designed the Vulcanized model, priced at €220, recognisable by its labelled laces, one of Off-White’s signature traits, and the crossed arrows motif.

Abloh dipped into hippy style for the collection’s inspiration, going a touch psychedelic and adopting playful patterns and cheerful colours. Notably, he gave a fresh twist to the label’s logo, using a rounded, childish font to print the word ‘OFF’ in large letters on the t-shirts. Also featured in the collection, the label’s typical diagonal stripes and geometric patterns.

Off-White Kids is available at leading multibrand e-tailers and on the label's e-shop. It is also accessible through a dedicated Instagram account. T-shirts are priced from €115 to €150, tracksuit tops from €225 to €290, while outerwear items range from €545 for down jackets and varsity jackets without patches to €750 for pea jackets. The hats, priced from €85 to €90, are available in pink for girls and khaki and navy for boys.
