Otis Eyewear taps Scott Lewis for Global Brand Manager

Premium eyewear brand Otis Eyewear is expanding internationally and has tapped eyewear industry pro Scott Lewis for a newly created role as Global Brand Manager.

Otis is an award winning breakthrough brand that has received surf industry recognition for the past several years. It uses only distortion-free mineral glass lenses, offering a fresh take on premium eyewear with a surf-inspired aesthetic.

Lewis began working with Otis parent company The Leisure Collective in December of last year, which began his relationship with the Otis brand. The Leisure Collective has since created the new role so that it could maximize Lewis' career-long experience in eyewear brands.

Leisure Collective CEO Nathan Omodei said: “It’s been exciting having Scott involved with our group as we have mapped out Otis’ future path." That future path clearly involves major global expansion for the brand that is currently hot in the US and Australia.

Prior to coming on with Otis, Lewis has held strategic leadership roles including Global Sales Director at Oakley and International President at Globe. He has extensive high level experience working in the EMEA region at Oakley and at Fox Head, Inc. He also was a strategic advisor to Spy Optic Europe and to French eyewear brand Parasite Design.

Lewis said of his new role, “Otis is absolutely ready to fire globally. The company strives for a level of excellence in product development and has a real hunger to improve and build."

Lewis will work from Otis' Australian offices beginning in June.
