Outdoor Retailer names Larry Harrison Brand Development Director

Outdoor Retailer announced on Monday that Larry Harrison has exited retirement to join the company as Brand Development Director.

 
Harrison possesses over 40 years of experience in the industry, and he recently retired from his position as Director of Sales for Adidas Outdoor. In addition to Adidas, Harrison also worked for JanSport, Rockport, Eagle Creek, Lowa, Sierra Designs and Wilderness Experience. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Outdoor Industry Association and the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition.
 
Harrison said in the statement, “I have been on a truly rewarding journey in our business and a change of focus from building a retail network to service and support, with the goal of a stronger industry it seems natural as I extend my career. Outdoor Retailer has an amazing team, passionate about creating a tight knit community of retailers, reps and brands to enliven the outdoor experience for the community.”
