Outlet Collection Winnipeg announces opening date

Central Canada will soon get its first dedicated outlet shopping centre. 

Outlet Collection Winnipeg announced on Wednesday that it will open to the public on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.

 
Outlet Collection Winnipeg will feature 400,000 square feet of retail space and as many as 100 retailers. The outlet mall will feature six anchor tenants; Saks Off 5th, Old Navy, F21 Red, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse and Winners. A first group of 45 retailers have already been confirmed, including retail outlets such as Aldo, Dynamite/Garage, La Vie en Rose, Roots, Guess Outlet, Tommy Hilfiger Outlet, and more. Moreover, over half of the newly announced retailers will be first to market brands in the province of Manitoba.
 
Overall, more than 1,300 full and part-time retail jobs will have been created by the project. A job fair with the newly announced retailers will take place March 25 and 26.

"Outlet Collection Winnipeg will be a unique place to shop and to work," says Dimitrios Cotsianis, General Manager, Outlet Collection Winnipeg, in a news statement. "We are very excited to provide our tenants with the opportunity to meet with potential candidates as hundreds of positions are filled."  
 
Outlet Collection Winnipeg is owned by Ivanhoé Cambridge.
